You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (DATAMGT) in the SUPPORTABILITY & DESIGN ANALYSIS DIVISION, COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVALAUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Port Hueneme, CA.

Duties

You will be the Team Lead in the Combat Systems Test and Evaluation Department to support multiple programs and combat system elements. You will provide leadership of the Database Architecture (OBA) team, and programs planning, executing, preparing, reviewing, and evaluating technology solutions in support of new systems acquisition or sustainment programs. You will provide technological solutions of operational readiness in support of improving Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) of Combat systems. You will lead personnel with a variety of technology expertise in developing and implementing programmatic requirements from acquisition through phase out. You will design and develop new technology solutions for process automation and process improvement. You will and analyze and gathering project requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to provide technology solutions that help the organization operated more efficiently and cost-effectively.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and executing Information Technology (IT) projects as it relates to Database Architecture (DBA) to support the improvement of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) of combat systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
