About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Defense Pacific Market Hawaii Region, Director of Resource Management Information Management located at Tripler Army Medical Center. Federal employees in Hawaii are currently entitled to receive a 9.28% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.

Duties

Preparation and Processing of Medical Command Publications. Ensure all electronic publications are formatted in standard word processing (Word) format. Create/maintains templates for creating and review of publications.

• Temporary duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 5% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Successfully completed a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Human Resource Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. To be qualified for GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Provide technical advice and consulting for medical publications review. 2) Produce a variety of publications with appropriate guidelines and regulations 3) Advise leadership on the development of publication plans and strategies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
