You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Systems Analyst in the Acquisition Logistics Planning Division within the Integrated Logistics Support Department in the Aviation Operations Directorate of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will oversee two teams of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who provide a wide range of services in support of all Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) activities during all phases of the acquisition cycle.
You will conduct logistics data surveillance/analysis, development and evaluation of system logistics support information products, integrated logistics support services, provisioning support, configuration management, and more.
You will prepare, update, maintain and socialize Command policies, instructions, procedures and guidance.
You will develop and deliver training material for employees within the Aviation Operations Directorate as well as external to Aviation Operations Directorate.
You will develop and maintain policy and process for the Command Equipment Specialist functions and related technical logistics disciplines.
You will provide focus, guidance, and training and establish specific supply support and program execution goals and metrics for all areas under your professional purview.
You will supervise a team with extensive support responsibilities to activities internal and external to NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS).

- As an Acquisition Workforce (AWF) member you will be required to complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Supply Systems Analyst with an expert knowledge of the technical characteristics of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) concepts and policies. I have extensive knowledge of DOD Supply Chain Management, DON budget formulation, and the execution of related policies and procedures sufficient to manage an organization. I am able to communicate well both orally and in writing. Examples of specialized experience must include most of the following: 1) Utilizing a knowledge of provisioning, DOD Cataloging policies and procedures, logistics data review/validation/input/maintenance, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), and other various logistical databases to support naval operations; 2) Applying various business management policies, business process analysis methodologies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to analyze and develop recommendations to improve command operations and objectives; 3) Experience with Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) business and industrial operations; 4) Familiarity with acquisition and weapon systems, configuration management (CM) responsibilities, engineering change proposals (ECPs), design change notices (DCNs), product improvement programs and associated funding protocols; and 5) Providing supervision and leadership in supply operations by assigning work, instructing employees on policies or procedures and delivering training.
