Duties
You will provide resource management, financial, and administrative support to Weapons Department leadership.
You will support efforts to evaluate and improve the efficiency and productivity of the department.
You will develop and maintain budgets, correspondence, reports, documentation, instructions, directives, forms, space utilization, equipment utilization, and administrative systems.
You will plan and conduct studies of work processes to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems in organizational structure, staffing, administrative procedures, work processes, or workload distribution to improve efficiency.
You will analyze and evaluate quantitative and qualitative effectiveness of administrative program operations relative to established goals and objectives.
You will maintain and coordinate staffing plans, such as the Manpower Listing, and develops and monitors programs for tracking and analyzing personnel overtime usage and leave balance records for department civilian personnel.
You will provide support to department management by preparing requests for personnel action and drafting position descriptions for submission to HRO, ensuring adherence to authorized position management plan and billet authorization.
You will provide administrative management services for the department, including document control and management, travel, training, timekeeping, and procurement support, as well as facility use and scheduling.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-01 pay band (GS-04 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing administrative tasks that support the development and efficiencies of assigned programs and projects.

Education
Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
- successful completion of a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree; -OR-
- a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
