You will serve as a Supervisory Data Systems Analyst in the IT Systems Support Division, Business and Maintenance Management Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties

You will develop, implement, and maintaining the TRIDENT LOGISTICS DATA SYSTEM (LDS), the software used to plan, track and report maintenance accomplished. You will direct the planning and delivery of IT customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training in response to customer requirements. You will serve as the primary liaison between Trident Refit Facility (TRF) and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility Information and Technology (IT) and Cyber Security Office (CSO) so solve system and technical issues. You will ensure effective and efficient use of all resources allocated. You will maintain discipline, mitigate informal complaints and grievances; conduct performance evaluations; establish standards of quality and quantity of work; and enforce regulations and rules on conduct safety, and housekeeping. You will direct the planning and delivery of customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training in response to customer requirements. You will oversee direct reports, customer relations, project support, and LDS asset and configuration management.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, analyzing, and maintaining automated data systems to ensure optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and information security.
