You will serve as a PERSONNEL RELIABILITY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Safety Department of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Duties

You will apply analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and knowledge of a substantial body of Personnel Reliability Program principles, concepts, policies, and objectives in the assigned miscellaneous administrative areas. You will carry out complex studies and projects in more than one administrative function often involving and impacting Personnel Reliability Program development and evaluation including especially difficult management advisory services. You will provide guidance and Personnel Reliability Program advice to senior level managers and staff concerning problems that affect the work of others, support contractors, and on varied/significant administrative programs. You will develop, modify, and maintain the Personnel Reliability Program that requires managing resources of an associated office. You will control, develop, and improve Personnel Reliability Program directives/policies for organizations serviced.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to qualify for inclusion into the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting studies to analyze project or program performance and assist management to ensure Personal Reliability Program (PRP) plans or mission efficiency.
