You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Career Management Directorate of NLEAD.
Duties
You will evaluate quantitative or qualitative analysis data to determine program operational performance.
You will operate software systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, SharePoint) to analyze data from multiple projects.
You will develop methods to measure the impact of improved information management/knowledge management (IM/KM) on organizational operations.
You will analyze manpower and personnel operating procedures requirements to identify problems.
You will use qualitative and quantitative analytical needs to develop and execute continuous process improvement activities within an organization.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing software systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, SharePoint) to research, prepare, maintain, and distribute reports; 2) Applying a combination of computational and Machine Learning (ML) methods to new and existing data to produce insights using current and next generation analytical tools. 3) Analyzing various data sources to provide data-driven insights to employ statistical software and computer programs to perform analysis of statistical data and findings; 4) Adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to measure and improve program effectiveness and organizational productivity; 5) Maintaining access to classified information and maintains access to controlled security areas. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is primarily sedentary with some walking and standing. There is a requirement to climb stairs; carry light items such as papers, books, and computer components. No special physical effort or ability is required to perform the work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Incumbent works in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment and visits other buildings or offices to support projects. Work is performed in a typical office setting and involves reading computer screens for prolonged periods of time. Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, conferences, and training away from work site.
