The primary purpose of this position is to support the TPS Commandant, front office, staff, and students as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for various administrative programs, as determined by the unit commander, local policies, and applicable regulations. Performs clerical support and customer service functions.

Establishes and executes administrative focused data by developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies used to optimize efficiency and quality of administrative support for USAF TPS.
Maintains outlook calendars for all conference rooms (CRs) and coordinates with the USAF TPS Executive Officer (CCE) for scheduling CC, CD, and CT. Reviews admin/applications workflow boxes, identifies items, and refers the materials to appropriate staff.
Training management and coordination for MyLearning, support both civilian and military training needs, and certification waivers.
Verifies graduates for TPS/STC/ETC students, maintains alumni and historical data for the schoolhouse. Works closely with AFTC Historical office and AF Museum.
Serves as skilled analyst and advisor while supporting both civilian and military personnel. Timekeeper within JOCAS.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Up to 20% telework possible (must reside in the local area)
- Obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance.
- 2 years of experience in the use of various analytical tools, databases, and management tools applicable to the duties of the position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least three years of progressively responsible general experience, one year of experience which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc). Experience would include overseeing, developing, and implementing various administrative and support functions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Knowledge of the organization's operations and functions sufficient to utilize well-established procedures and
techniques to perform the routine, procedural work of the office.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations,
retrieve and input data.
3. Ability to use Adobe PDF editing and Microsoft applications and software to include MS Outlook for e-mail, calendars, and workflow; MS Word for document preparation and editing; MS Excel for spreadsheets and data analysis; and MS PowerPoint for presentations, training, and briefings.
4. Ability to recognize and understand complex issues or problems and make appropriate recommendations.
5. Ability to analyze, verify and correlate data and locate, assemble and compose information for non-routine
reports, inquiries, and technical correspondence. Skill in data gathering methods to collect factual information.
6. Ability to use one or more established automated systems to enter, maintain, sort, and retrieve organizational
and/or program data.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with the CC/CD/CT on workforce development efforts to include disseminating training notifications, consulting on daily activities and overseeing/reviewing awards submissions.
8. Ability to work independently and deliver strategic guidance on assigned tasks while also providing tactical support.
