About the Position:This position is located in the Enterprise & Systems Integration Center (ESIC). The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armaments Center is the Army's Center of Lethality, and provides more than 90% of the Army's lethality to soldiers. CCDC Armaments Center mission includes: improving already fielded items, developing new items, maintaining a strong armament technology base in government, industry and academia and providing technical support to Soldiers.
Duties
Provide expertise to others within the group and throughout the division/laboratory on unique and controversial problems.
Research, learn, and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and work products.
Develop new methodology and procedures which extend the existing knowledge and result in precedents for others to follow, patents, or otherwise overcome technical barriers previously considered significant obstacles to further progress in the field
Coach the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and retain a secret security clearance
- Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-2 (GS-11) in the Federal service which includes: 1) Execute technical review and analysis associated with one or all three of the areas of Technical Data Package (TDP) management, Procurement Package Input (PPI) and Computer Aided Drafting. 2) Function as a liaison with the organization's customer base providing metrics, reporting data and status accounting. 3) Applying Standing Operating Procedures in the execution of engineering drawings, specification, and standard review.
