About the Position: Serves as supply technician for a training department. The incumbent is the central point for procurement, requisitioning, storing, suing, control and inventory of tools, stock, repair parts and supplies as well as components used in weapons maintenance training and for tems falling under the division property account consisting of housekeeping and office supplies and equipment, tools and chines/equipment required for support of the mission.

Duties

Develop a hand receipt account of multiple line items located within the organization. Prepare transfers of equipment to other arears in the organization. Conduct warehouse operations to stock/store property not issued to users in the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 40 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
