About the Position: This is an Administrative Office Assistant (OA), GS-0303-07 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, Contracting Division, National Contracting Organization located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Duties
You will serve as the Training Coordinator and Central Point of Contact for the Division/Office functioning as the sole contact for training activities for assigned employees.
Review training requests for Individual Development Plans of the employees.
Serve as a liaison for the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) on all matters related to Human Resources.
Conduct limited studies of administrative functions to determine more efficient methods of processing.
Coordinate clerical and day-to-day administrative support activities to accomplish the work of the organization
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Business Travel up to 10%.
- Obtain and Maintain valid state driver license.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: performing 2 out of the 3 following duties: 1) tracking expenditures for an office budget using an automated financial management system; or 2) consolidating or preparing data for reports; or 3) performing administrative support duties for an office, such as property record maintenance, training coordination, and tracking personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
