Duties

Responsible for all aspects of budget formulation, preparation, and cost estimating. Monitors execution and liquidation of funds for the unit accounts. Responsible for timely processing of funds received, including reimbursement funds. Provide the highest quality resource management support, based upon their stated needs.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a T3 (Secret) Clearance.
  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 1 Certified position designated as such IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d.
  • Incumbent must have Financial Management Level 1 Certification or have Certification completed within 30-days of assuming position.
  • CONT. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
  • CONT. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

Education

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
