About the Position: Serves as Stock Record Accountable Officer for Supply Support Activity (SSA) within the Installation Supply Division, Army Field Support Battalion(AFSBn Liberty). Responsible for oversight and advising the contractors performing following areas: Supply Storage, Stock Record Account, and Hazardous Materials Warehouse.
Duties
Develops local plans, policies and standing operating procedures for the Supply and Services Division and support units.
Defines objectives to be accomplished to fulfill assigned missions.
Determines causes of deficiencies and provides corrective action plan.
Serves as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the Retail Supply and CRP for the Supply and Services contract.
Responsible for developing Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QSAP) and surveillances checklist.
Requirements
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- The incumbent must be able to complete and maintain a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certification/training IAW DoDI 5000.72.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply support programs and/or operations involving ammunition, petroleum, engineer materials, repair parts, and supply; AND Identify supply program deficiencies for corrective action; AND develop Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QSAP) based contractor performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
