The primary purpose of this position: To serve as a Defensive Cyberspace Operations Coordinator and Planner for defensive operations executed for Commander Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF)

Duties
DUTY 1: Plans, develops, coordinates, synchronizes, and supports the execution of defensive (hunt) operations in support of the CNMF to accomplish its Defend the Nation (DTN) in cyberspace mission.
DUTY 2: Provides management and curation of the refined standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the employment of CNMF defensive (hunt) elements in support of the counter-malicious cyberspace actors element of the CNMF's DTN in cyberspace mission.
DUTY 3: Provides expert support to the CNMF Mission Manager and Fires on defensive cyberspace operations with all mission partners.

- The employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft.
- The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
- The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1
- Position is designated special-sensitive, incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions.
This is a GG-12 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Mastery of the principles and theories engineering or the sciences. Knowledge in multi-disciplinary engineering integral to understanding emerging technologies, emerging adversary threats, and modeling & simulation (M&S). Demonstrated knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and missions/functions, inter-relationships and operations; technical expert in the intelligence analysis and production activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas
1. Knowledge of and skill with Joint Cyberspace Operations planning, concepts, principles, and practices, and extensive familiarity with broad range of military operations, including recent experience within cyberspace operations.
2. Knowledge of and skill with Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) concepts, principles and extensive familiarity with broad concepts within the DCO community.
3. Knowledge of cyberspace operations policy and doctrine; expert skill in negotiation and/or defense of controversial inter-command or inter-service cyberspace operations support issues within DoD and interagency issues throughout federal government (e.g., DOJ, DHS).
4. Knowledge of the DoD command structure and experience with joint military operations.
5. Skill in applying Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) deliberate and crisis planning procedures, the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP), and Integrated Tasking Order development and staffing processes.6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relations.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week
