About the Position: Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) mission statement: To receive, store, ship, produce, renovate and demilitarize conventional ammunition, missiles and related components to meet contingency requirements in support of the warfighter. This position will be filled on a permanent basis. This position is in a Bargaining Unit.

Duties

Complete in-house design work for small infrastructure projects to be accomplished by construction contractors. Assign projects, monitors progress, tracks costs, and performs on-site inspections. Apply practical knowledge of engineering principles in assessing specific requirements. Prepare technical reports that document and explain sometimes complex, technical issues.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles and must possess and maintain installation driving privileges.
• You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Direct deposit of pay is required.
• Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.

Qualifications

This position is under the Acquisition Demonstration Project. The NJ-03 broadband incorporates former (GS equivalents) GS-09 step 1 through GS-11 step 10 grade levels and salary levels. Pay increase within the band will be accomplished through the Contribution-based Compensation and Appraisal System (CCAS).
