You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the Cyber Security Assessment Branch, in the Force Level Assessment Division, of the Performance Assessment Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, Corona, California.
Duties
You will lead a team of program managers, system engineers, and information systems security professionals to ensure appropriate security posture is implemented and maintained,
You will apply Cyber Warfare assessment to Test and Evaluation, Cybersecurity Safety, and Performance Assessment for multiple Navy Surface combatants including weapons control, machinery control, and navigation systems
You will interpret and explain Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity Safety (CYBERSAFE) policies and processes to ensure correct implementation and certification is achieved,
You will support CYBERSAFE projects for programs of record in the CYBERSAFE certification process,
You will lead the grade determination process for systems and enclaves to assist system owners in determining CYBERSAFE process entrance criteria,
You will manage the criticality and degradation analysis of combat system components to identify the severity of mission impact and mission success,
You will collect and identify all required software and hardware configuration versions critical to the warfare mission and maintain ownership of the CYBERSAFE artifacts of the final criticality analysis outcomes,
You will provide oversight of selection, grading and implementation of cybersecurity controls at the component level, and maintain the requirements traceability matrix for control selections,
You will collaborate with system owners for degradation analysis and maintain version control of certification artifacts, leading mapping of all network message traffic, IP source and destination information and network boundaries,
You will conduct collaborative efforts of supply chain risk management and cyberspace protection condition assessments, collaborating and interfacing with sponsors and program managers during technical reviews.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for Specialty 461, Systems Security Analyst, Advanced level within prescribed timelines.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the NT-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing leadership and assessment within a Cybersecurity program to mitigate system vulnerabilities and monitor compliance with established cybersecurity policies or procedure to optimize the operational security posture.
For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-9/10 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating information systems to monitor cybersecurity requirements and network performance and develop mitigation plans to reduce or eliminate risks to security posture.
You must also demonstrate attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
