You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS GROUP, TOTAL FORCE STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will handle different types of personnel actions.
You will advise management on principles.
You will provide Staffing duties through advice and guidance.
You will provide Staffing customer service to employees.
You will research and resolve pay issues.
Requirements
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
AT THE GS-11 LEVEL:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Provide guidance and assistance to management and employees on human resources issues 2) Advise management on position management principles; 3) Provide a wide range of staffing duties include providing advice and guidance to manager on appropriate recruitment sources, hiring flexibilities, and methods; 4) Provide staffing customer service to managers and employees; 5) Apply effective application of salary and wage directives.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
AT THE GS-11 LEVEL:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
AT THE GS-09 LEVEL:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
