You will serve as a Lead Human Resources Specialist in the Command Operations Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will serve as a Lead Human Resources Specialist in the Command Operations Directorate. . You will ensure that the organizations strategic plan, mission, goals, vision and values are communicated to team members and integrated into the team's work strategies, goals and plans. You will guide team members in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures. You will represent team interests with other department teams and programs.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advise management on effective program management and/or strategic staffing plans in order to have successful employee program initiatives and/or recruitments; 2) Recommend innovative strategies to improve established employee programs and/or to resolve problems of job turnover issues, workforce planning, rightsizing, and other initiatives; 3) Analyze workforce metrics (i.e. staffing, classification, program management, etc.) to identify areas that need improvement; 4) Leading a team and guiding them in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and provide advice on work methods, practices, and procedures 5) Extensive knowledge in federal staffing and recruitment in order to provide and assess training of team members; 6) Communicating clearly to team members work assignments, objectives, problems to be solved, relevant program issues, deadlines, and priorities. .
