About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Defines performance indicators that identify areas of concern by working closely with regional managed care offices. Establish standards of performance for critical and high volume, high-cost areas of health care. Coordinate data requirements with markets and MTFs to ensure uniformity and consistency in reporting and managing information for conducting performance and cost analysis. Make recommendations to the DHA leadership and initiates necessary actions to track local programs having value to the DHA. Work closely with clinical staffs and managed care offices regarding implementation, and evaluation of program initiatives, and research, analyzes, develops and conducts informal and formal briefings as required. Performs periodic audit and analysis of productivity data.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
