About the Position: This is a Management Analyst position, located with U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8 Manpower & Force Analysis Directorate at Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, VA is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach the surrounding area which includes Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.

Duties

Serves a Senior Management Analyst for the Integration and Training Division (ITD). Responsible for generating Resource Management (G-8) strategic communications to all TRADOC Staff organizations. Serves as the lead for the organization in the preparation, coordination, and implementation of contingency plans and programs for HQ TRADOC. Participates and supports the operation of ITD as a senior analyst responsible for executing policies and procedures which govern the operation of ITD and reviewing work products and proposals for senior leader approval.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret Clearance- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LEVEL 2 CERTIFIED - must be able to obtain this certification within 24 months from hire date.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
