This position is located at Departmental Offices, Economic Policy. As a Grants Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing, implementing and executing Social Impact Partnerships to Pay for Results Act (SIPPRA) awards administration and business management functions including Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA).

Duties

As a Grants Management Specialist, you will: Perform pre-award and post-award administration and business management reviews for all SIPPRA programs. Provide expert advice to SIPPRA program managers on award administration and business management regulations, policies and processes. Provide advice and resolves issues that concern SIPPRA application and award policies or processes for applicant organizations and award recipients. Prepare required SIPPRA award/applicant documents and correspondence and performs other related duties. Assist program managers, IT and Legal Counsel in developing program announcements, notices of funding availability and award application formats and requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience implementing grants programs, including reviewing and approving grant applications, negotiating scopes of work, and tracking grant performance; AND Experience evaluating grant applications to assess technical adequacy; AND Experience determining applicant conformance to laws, regulations, and policies; AND Experience establishing grants management policies and procedures.
