Duties
Serves as a senior analyst for ammunition and the organic industrial base throughout the ammunition logistics lifecycle.
Analyzes acquisition strategies, ammunition customer requirements, policy guidance for the environment, energy, facility engineering, property missions, and Enterprise Integrated Logistics Support execution.
Analyzes and develops acquisition strategies for new ammunition items so the customer is aware of characteristic and logistics considerations for storage and usage.
Serves as the Head Quarters (HQ) Joint Munitions Command (JMC) lead for all matter pertaining to the contractual oversight, logistics, operations, and maintenance at the facilities under their control.
Performs technical studies related to ammunition operations, readiness posture, and overall integrated logistics strategies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics-Advanced certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- The incumbent of this position is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.

1) Assist with key production events to analyze and develop strategies to streamline ammunition logistics activities; 2) Provide guidance to management and customers on ammunition logistics programs; and 3) Participates in planning and coordinating activities as related to ammunition life cycle management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
