You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Reactor Servicing Division within the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department, Production Shop S/06 of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate various departmental programs.
You will evaluate Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs.
You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and program effectiveness.
You will make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends.
You will coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives as assigned, and, coordinates department level audit responses.
You will enter data into an organized record keeping/data base system.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying and analyzing process performance data to resolve program deficiencies and make recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
