You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Branch, Support Equipment (SE) and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will advise on product and logistics matters; business planning; metrics management; and all other aspects of logistics management within the area of responsibility.
You will conduct meetings and conferences to exchange information, discuss problems, explain policy, review program status, and make technical decisions and recommendations.
You will gather and analyze data for inclusion in briefs, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with program objectives.
You will develop, implement, and make use of techniques necessary to identify and provide timely, accurate responses to customer inquiries related to program needs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Assisting with procurement management functions to include provisioning, equipment requisitions, supply deficiency reporting, technical manual development, configuration control, technical directives and life cycle sustainment plans. 2) Developing and implementing logistics policies, controls and operating procedures for overall planning, direction and timely execution of the program logistics elements during all phases of the life cycle from concept exploration and fleet introduction until retirement from service. 3) Assisting in the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost, schedule and performance objectives. 4) Providing logistics support during the preparation of acquisition documents, specifications and standards that define parameters of the program; and 5) Assisting the IPT by supplying logistics functions such as activity liaison, providing historical data for research, maintaining and providing SE data as needed on progress/ status.
