You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGMENT SPECIALIST in the Ford Class Launch & Recovery Division of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will serve as the NAVAIR program spokesman and advocate on logistics program matters.
You will be responsible for ILS acquisition planning and execution including schedule, technical and fiscal management.
You will provide cost supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle.
You will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned systems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide overall management of acquisition and life cycle logistics/maintenance management activities; 2) Manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned systems; 3) Develop ILS planning and supportability requirements for program documentation and manage the development and preparation of logistics sections of program documents; 4) Provide cost supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of assigned systems; 5) Plan the strategy or implementation of logistics management operations to ensure timely logistics support; and 6) Review, evaluate and direct changes to achieve Logistics' consistency with program parameters or higher-level logistics support policies.
