You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Support Equipment Department, Program Executive Office for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons/Joint Strike Fighter Peculiar Support Equipment (PEO (U&W/JSF) PSE) Division
of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will serve as a Senior Logistics Lead for UAS SE providing leadership and management of ILS efforts.
You will formulate approaches to resolve a variety of complex ILS issues involving collaboration and compromise.
You will interface with senior managers, leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders (internal and external).
You will identify gaps in readiness and improve readiness strategies.
You will provide ILS planning and supportability considerations for development, production, and sustainment.
You will ensure that plans are updated accordingly to achieve optimum life cycle cost.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05/GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:
1) Providing support considerations for development, production, and sustainment of major, complex aviation Support Equipment (SE) or Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment (ALRE) systems to meet the user's operational needs; 2) Applying uniform and rigorous product support direction to encourage universal adoption of best practices; 3) Directing the implementation of logistics support operations to ensure that plans are updated accordingly to achieve optimum life cycle cost; 4) Directing the implementation and execution of logistics support operations by the product support team to achieve assigned readiness objectives at the optimum life cycle cost.; and 5) Developing Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) planning and supportability requirements for program documentation to monitor its development.
