You will serve as a Logistics Specialist in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Research & Engineering Group SE & ALRE Group of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will conduct a business case analysis to devise effective methods of accomplishing logistics procedures.
You will resolve logistics management problems for an organization.
You will negotiate strategic or tactical system concerns of logistics support objectives.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 or DP-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Providing leadership and expertise with the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support to assigned systems such as Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE), Logistics Element Managers (LEMs), Deputy Assistant Program Managers, Logistics (DAPMLs), Logistics/Maintenance Managers, Inventory Managers and Data Managers at NAVAIR and field activities.
Advising on program development and oversight of NAVAIR, DoN, and other equivalent level programs.
Scheduling major projects, resolving difficult problems, and serving as a technical authority throughout the organization.
Directing the performance of logistics and maintenance analyses and exercises control over logistics activities in support of assigned systems to ensure effective and efficient planning.
Developing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) by planning and supporting requirements for program documentation and manages the development and preparation of logistics sections of these documents.
