You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the STRIKE WEAPONS & UAV DIVISION, LOGISTICS INTERGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PATUXENT RIVER, MARYLAND.
Duties
You will serve as the PMA-242 Direct Strike Head Quarters (HQ)/M299 Missile Launcher Deputy Assistant Program Manager, Logistics for the Precision Guided Munitions and Joint Air-to-Ground Missile Sustainment Teams, under the direction of the (APML).
You will act as the lead DAPML for other PGM/JAGM program DAPMLs.
You will provide leadership, technical/logistics guidance during the developing product support/sustainment strategies, ensuring each Integrated Product Support element is integrated into new or existing PGM/JAGM commodities.
You will provide Integrated Product Teams (IPT) leadership, technical guidance and the program communication program goals and objectives, across a diverse multi-functional and decentralized product support team.
You will assist in determining the logistics support resources for maintenance planning, technical data, training, facilities, computer resources, and packaging requirements necessary to test.
You will assist in the development and periodic updates of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents.
You will assist in the development, planning and execution of the logistics program budgets and the development processes associated with the development.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all or the following:
1) Working knowledge and experience with total life cycle logistics support management; 2) Leading diverse team of logisticians or supervise subordinates, dealing objectively and harmoniously with them, and render sound decisions; 3) Ensuring tasks are completed on time; 4) Understanding logistics budgets formulation and the management of funds; 5) Organizing work, sets priorities, and determining resource requirements; determining short- or long-term goals; 6) Working independently, making decisions, planning operations, demonstrating job responsibility, and exercising initiative.
