About the Position: Serves as a Supply Technician for the Installation Stock Record Account at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in the Directorate of Material Management, Inventory Management Division. Assists higher graded specialists and lower graded technicians in mission accomplishment.

Duties

Update databases. Use data to respond to variety of customer, program review and vendor inquiries. Ensure consistency and appropriate cross-referencing. Perform research to determine reasons for patterns. Use a thorough knowledge of supply regulations and policies. Conduct investigations to correct errors found through the causative research program. Review record adjustments for accuracy and completeness. Provide assistance to lower graded personnel.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.

Specialized Experience: GS-09- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Consolidating reports and records to ensure equipment requirements; 2) Conducting physical inventories to help identify and correct discrepancies; AND 3) Comparing data to assure consistency and accuracy.
