Duties

You will provide technical advice to others in the design, construction and alteration of facilities. You will demonstrate an understanding of abstract planning concepts. You will analyze a large volume of complex data and distinguish meaningful data. You will explain projects, programs, and the application of criterial to outside audit and other agencies.

Requirements

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

For GS-12: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing planning recommendations for construction, demolition, energy, maintenance and facilities development projects; 2) Reviewing engineering/architectural drawings or specifications for construction, demolition, energy, maintenance, facilities development projects to identify inconsistencies; 3) Using planning systems and automated databases to capture spatial or geographic data to support facility planning.
