You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the AIR Systems Group, Logistics Department, Maintenance Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will plan, establish, and execute effective total life cycle Logistics Integration tools and procedures for the program office.
You will guide the work performed by logistics personnel, influence equipment design teams and exchange information with field activities and user commands.
You will conduct logistics research and development, assessing and utilizing industry practices to improve maintenance technologies, manufacturing sciences, and technology insertion in the acquisition process.
You will provide support from concept refinement and technology development through disposal to ensure maintainability, readiness, supportability, and affordability.
You will develop, implement, and sustain maintenance and supply support solutions that are integrated and optimized in support of the Fleet and development of efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems.
Requirements

Qualifications
QUALS
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Logistics experience particularly in the area of Maintenance Planning; 2) Io identify readiness issues, perform evaluation and analysis, provide recommendations and decision processes to address current and future sustainment strategies; 3) Training, inventory management, contract management and budget planning; 4) Ability to communicate effectively up and down the chain of command; 5) Problem solving and resolution.
DAWIA Requirement: This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and has been identified as a Career Field L-LIFE CYCLE LOGISTICS at LEVEL III-ADVANCED. You are responsible for meeting applicable DAWIA certification requirements, including maintaining currency in your career field.
