You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Engineering and Planning Department (EPD) Training Branch, Code 220.1 of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will oversee the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of professional development strategies.
You will manage formalized programs that include, but are not limited to, on-the-job training, job shadowing, rotational assignments, competency management, and Individual Development Plan management for engineering branches.
You will monitor the execution of employee development and supporting programs ensuring proficiency in the competencies that support the execution of the mission reporting on program effectiveness and efficiency.
You will report findings to management using qualitative and quantitative metrics for programs and projects within area of responsibility.
You will develop models for analyzing management and program studies, business, leadership and Workforce Development (WFD) systems, and their effectiveness.
You will collect, review, evaluate and interpret data to make recommendations to management to improve the WFD programs.
You will recommends course of action (COA) and tangible improvements to employee development to assure proper and adequate accomplishment of major departmental goals and objectives.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing systems and practices to identify trends and recommend process improvement initiatives for workforce development programs or procedures.
