You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Quality Assurance Division Code 512, Control Division, Code 510, Supply Department (Code 500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will contact and coordinate with individuals from Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), and various supply and support activities to ensure proper maintenance of stock levels. You will respond to distribution centers, supply centers, and customers worldwide that have questions or problems relating to items managed at TRF or logistical actions taken by TRF. You will perform Customer /Operational Studies by analyzing performance results from reports, statistical analyses, and customer surveys. You will ensure the timely processing of customer orders and customer access to material, status, and other order information. You will document reconciliation, revise existing specifications and storage location considerations with regards to logistics and special stow requirement policies.

  • You may be required to travel as the need arises for purposes such as training, attendance at meetings, and participation in work efforts away from TRIREFFAC Kings Bay.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience validating material utilizing databases such as Submarine Logistic Data Base (SLDB) with customers' requisitions ensuring material and on hand quantity is correct. Experience using causative research analysis to track the history of transactions against the material. Experience researching and resolving product or inventory discrepancies related to customer orders. Experience responding to distribution centers, supply centers, and customers worldwide that have questions or problems relating to items managed. Experience ensuring the availability of sufficient material to support the mission by inventory control, supply distribution, storage/shipping, cataloging, and preservation/packaging. Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
