About the Position: Serves as a program analyst within a Project Management Office (PMO) of the Program Executive Officer (PEO).

Duties

Perform a variety of duties in all phases of financial management to include the planning, preparation, development, justification, and execution of funds for assigned programs. Coordinate a responsive financial management program to assure availability of resources to meet established milestones Financial management, execution and evaluation of Appropriated, Foreign Military Sales and/or International Program funds. Coordinate and collaborate with Product/Functional Directors and external agencies to develop execution plans and tasker response. Anticipate problems, develops sound solutions and action plans to ensure program/mission accomplishment. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and serve as an advisor and liaison to superiors on the status of projects, issues that evolve, solution recommendations, and existing concerns.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time
  • Selectee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category of BUSINESS - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BUS-FM) and Practitioner Career Certification must be met within 60 months of entrance on duty.
  • This is a Financial Management Level II Certified position. This certification must be obtained within 24 months of appointment. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
