You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the ENTERPRISE SERVICES DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (Code 1044) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Duties
You will serve as the Information Technology Business Analyst Team Lead, providing professional IT services emphasizing process development and integration with data and IT systems supporting Corporate Operations business activity,
You will be the primary liaison with clients on all matters related to systems operations and support,
You will develop business functional requirements analysis to determine best-fit solutions to address business needs,
You will lead complex business process development, process detail, decomposition and detailed documentation procedures,
You will work on processes used to generate performance metrics and report on results of analysis of system performance data, Project Management and various methodologies available for use in tracking and managing project progress,
You will employ your skill in the use of data analytics platforms such as Microsoft Power BI to deliver business solutions,
You will analyze work activities to identify business process automation opportunities and determine the feasibility of testing, deploying and supporting new IT solutions to meet customer business requirements,
You will participate in systems integration testing, applying test results to modify specifications and correct problems and faults as necessary,
You will participate in the warfare center-wide data analytics community of practice to bring tools and methodologies into projects.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Software Developer within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Conducting analysis of Information Technology systems and customer requirements to identify and develop business solutions using IT tools and platform technologies (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power BI) for an organization.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
