Duties
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Business Integration Office (BIO) and is part of the Business Process Division's Acquisition and Financial Assistance (AFA) Branch.
At the full performance level GS-13 the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Serve as a Tier 3 acquisition and financial assistance help desk team member. Resolve tickets in a timely manner and provide knowledgeable and friendly customer support.
Support major system upgrades of the contract management system by performing thorough release testing, reporting defects, and supporting end user testing.
Perform system testing, prototyping and incident analysis in relevant modules of the SAP ERP solution.
Perform regular updates in all Support Systems including Remedy, Digital.AI, Charm, Solution Manager, and Accelerator.
Meet and maintain an on-going dialog with various agencies using the same acquisitions and/or financial assistance systems to communicate and collaborate on issues and provide assistance.
The Office of the Secretary has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
Salary Information
GS-13:
$109,107 - $141,836 per annum (Lakewood, CO)
$112,015 - $145,617 per annum (Reston, VA)
First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
This vacancy may be used to fill additional positions as vacancies become available.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series/grade to which you are applying.
Specialized Experience
To qualify for the GS-13, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1) Acting as a liaison between customers, management, executive leadership, contractors, and procurement staff; 2) Producing reporting and analysis deliverables for the entire obligation and/or procurement lifecycle;
3) Analyzing, designing, and implementing or making modifications to financial and business systems in support of an enterprise-wide Contract Management System (CMS); 4) Serving as a member of a team and/or team leader in the implementation of obligation modules and processes related to a finance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that is tightly integrated with an Enterprise Contract Management System (CMS); 5) Effectively coordinating and communicating with resources in other business processes including Core Finance, Financial Assistance, Personal Property, Fleet, Real Property, Budget Formulation/execution, to produce an efficient and accurate enterprise solution; 6) Identifying system configuration considerations related to regulatory requirements; 7) Communicating complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel and preparing and presenting briefings to senior management officials within the Department, other Federal agencies, and the private sector on complex/controversial issues. Must meet at least five out of seven.
