You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the Professional Development Division of OFFICE OF NAVAL INTELLIGENCE.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
Serves as Office of Naval Intelligence, Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education (MPT and E) (N1) intelligence analysis and professional course facilitator.
Leads Cornerstone course which provides an introduction to the intelligence cycle, analytic tradecraft, and methodology.
Provides training for analytic tools and techniques and provides small group and desk-side training as required.
Provides classroom facilitation, project management, and administrative support for a range of entry-level and journeyman/intermediate level analyst training (e.g., writing, briefing, classification techniques, and advanced analytic techniques).
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require a 2-year trial period.
- This position requires periodic polygraph examinations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a strong technical expertise in training, facilitation, and project management; 2) Performing a wide range of complex tasks to develop, manage, and evaluate a portfolio of training programs supporting the workforce; 3) Leading Cornerstone course which covers the intelligence process and methodology; 4) Providing classroom facilitation and administrative support for a range of entry-level and journeyman/intermediate level analyst training (e.g. writing, briefing, classification techniques, and advanced analytic techniques).
