Duties

Plans and assigns work based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of the employees; provides technical oversight. Serves as a PSYOP senior Instructor to develop, prepare, coordinate, conduct, assist and supervise in developing the training, planning development. Develops and modifies short- and long-range lesson plans for graduate level or comparable courses or upper-division undergraduate courses or courses in advanced technical systems.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The employee is required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • This position requires employee to work under adverse environmental conditions.
  • The employee may be required to work overtime.
  • Must possess a current and valid state driver's license.
  • May be required to travel TDY up to 10% of the time.

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year Supervisory probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirement.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education / Training Program AdministrationLeadershipTraining and Education Analysis Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
