Provide administrative support to a clinical leader and Administrative Officer under the Office of the Chief of Staff. The work consists of duties utilizing administrative and technical skills, and positive communication skills with internal and external customers. She/he will perform secretarial, clerical and administrative duties. This position is under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer.
Duties
Duties consist of the following, but are not limited to:
Collects data to determine reasonable prices for new items and prepare written solicitations, following all applicable federal and agency acquisition regulations.
Operates a personal computer and ability to use a variety of software programs to enter, maintain and reconcile information.Utilizes statistical data to compile a monthly workload report for all program staff and administrative supervisors.
Communicates and treats customers in a courteous, tactful, and respective manner.
Act as consultant to program team members in regard to administrative matters.
Performs a variety of administrative duties including, typing, copying, faxing, filing and other tasks associated with maintaining and supporting leadership.
Serves as the liaison to schedule meetings.
Monitors and controls business papers, correspondence, and records, including the coordination of minutes, action items, and documents needed by the office.
Monitors the progress of management's reports, notes, memoranda, data, ect., to ensure their satisfactory and timely conclusion by preparing documents/ or supporting these functions for the office.
Obtains and monitors the use of services, supplies, and equipment.
Provides the customer with consistent information according to established policies and procedures.

Follows applicable regulations and instructions regarding access to computerized files, release of access codes, etc. as set out in the computer access agreement that employees sign.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/07/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

Physical Requirements: The position is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do work.
