You will serve as the T-45 Mission Systems Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) within Naval Undergraduate Flight Training Systems Program Office (PMA-273), Mission Systems Group, and Logistics Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will be responsible for the planning, analysis, and execution of an effective Integrated Product Support (IPS) Program. You will apply logistics principles and practiced to ensure integration of product support elements to accomplish program goals and objectives. You will assist in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e. statements of work and contract requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition phases. You will assist in planning and preparing documentation for assigned program/projects. You will provide technical leadership and guidance of other program office personnel regarding system requirements, maintenance planning, life cycle logistics support, systems integration and test requirements. You interface with internal and external contacts to exchange information, resolve conflicts, prove and justify significant deviations from established logistics policy, and defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans, etc.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of Specialized Experience includes: 1) Developing and implementing product support and maintenance concepts/requirements for assigned aviation weapon systems to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost; 2) Planning and expending resources/funding to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture; 3) Assisting in submission and defense of Integrated Product Support budgets and support cost information to achieve program goals and objectives; 4) Identifying, planning and executing logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of the total systems life cycle (i.e. acquisition and sustainment) are in place to meet program requirements; and 5) Participating in risk management processes and early identification of system integration risks.
