You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the HEADQUARTERS AND SERVICE BATTALION of HQTSBATTALION.
Duties
You will provide support, review, and assessment of Reserve applicants for planned or emerging manpower requirements.
You will provide consultative services to ensure optimum staffing and placement of Reserve personnel for Henderson Hall staff sections.
You will formulate internal control procedures and measures.
You will conuct program reviews/research and provide advisory services on substantive reserve issues to assess the effectivenenss of program operations.
You will analyze and evaluate quantitiative effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
Requirements

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising a Commanding Officer and staff on all matters pertaining to Reserve Affairs to include Reserve administration, personnel, and financial management; formulating internal control procedures and measures while conducting a continuing review of areas of responsibility to ensure all are operating in an acceptable and efficient manner.
To qualify for the GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising a Commanding Officer and staff on all matters pertaining to Reserve Affairs to include Reserve administration, personnel, and financial management; formulating internal control procedures and measures while conducting a continuing review of areas of responsibility to ensure all are operating in an acceptable and efficient manner; AND considering all aspects of new or established programs including statutes, policies, and objectives; workload models; resource estimates and utilization; and issues, constraints, impacts, and concerns related to other organizational components.
