Purpose: To serve as a Security Specialist in support of Foreign Military Sales Program Protection related to protection of US critical Technologies. Responsible for physical & operations security policy & issues, manages assigned program areas, & implements force protection policy, projects, & studies for the protection of US personnel & assets
Duties
Implements the program protection planning activities for supported Security Assistance/Cooperation Programs, their facilities, and weapon systems at contractor and foreign government locations ensuring that all elements of protection comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs throughout the program. As the security technical expert for these systems, the incumbent is responsible for the enforcement of policy for the protection of the weapon systems including at contractor and other DoD activities.
Implements the Program Protection and Technology Assessment and Control Program. Assists in defining and identifying critical technology and assesses the feasibility and benefit to the US government of providing this technology to foreign governments and analyzing the risk to the US in that action. Reviews Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) to ensure proper Program Protection requirements are identified to notify partner nations of measures that must be taken to properly protect critical program information and technology.
Anti-Tamper (AT) measures may be applied to the program. AT encompasses systems engineering activities to prevent and/or delay exploitation of critical technologies in US weapon systems which may fall into another country's hands either through export or loss during battle. This necessitates working closely with the engineering community and specifically systems engineers.
Represents organization with DoD, USAF, AFMC, other MAJCOMs, various AFLCMC organizations, and foreign government and military personnel. Maintains effective working relationships with these organizations. Meets with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explains organization policy and procedures, and resolves problems that arise.

AFLCMC/WA has an immediate opening for a Foreign Military Sales Acquisition Security position within the F-15 Program Office at Robins AFB, GA. The position requires basic Information Protection and Program Protection experience. The incumbent reports to the Chief of Security for the F-15 Division and is responsible for program protection activities for foreign partner weapon systems. Program Protection, Security Classification Guide development, staffing experience highly desired. Provides technical guidance or direct support in the implementation of controls and safeguards that prevent unauthorized access to Classified, Controlled Unclassified, and other types of sensitive information requiring distinct controls and/or safeguards.

2. Expert ability in developing, analyzing, evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the SAF. Ability to perform risk assessment and determine adequate compensatory measures as appropriate.
3. Knowledge of engineering, contracting, logistics and other functional concepts, programs, procedures, and practices.
4. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
5. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
