Duties

You will serve as Executive Assistant to the Senior Scientific Technical Manager (SSTM) Director, Combatant Craft Systems. You will provide high-level Administrative and Executive support services to the Division Head/Site Director, as well as support to the Detachment front office staff. You will be responsible for administrative, executive and management support services essential to the operation of the organization and the support necessary to accomplish the Organization?s mission. You will carry out major operational support functions, projects or programs. You will identify and develop solutions with management to implement recommendations. You will gather and analyze facts to make recommendations to management regarding services and operations.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing analytical and evaluative techniques to provide recommendations for the improvement and efficiency of work operations aligned to administrative and operations managers and executive leaders. Education

Education may substitute for experience as follows:
  • Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR
  • 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR
  • Successful completion of a LL.M., related to the position being filled OR
  • A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
