About the Position: You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military/OA) in the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), Brigade (BDE)
Headquarters, S-1, Personnel Division to ensure that BDE Military and BDE/Battalion (BN) Civilian Human Resources (CHR) actions receive timely processing.
Duties
Processes military HR actions according to technical guidance and procedures established by SOPs and regulation.
Monitors activities for actions impacting on submission of assigned efficiency reports and evaluations to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Assists in management of BDE military awards program.
Serves as liaison between BDE/BNs, USAREC HQs G-1 Civilian Personnel Management Division (CPMD), and supporting Civilian Personnel Advisory Centers (CPACs).
Requirements

- This position has a TDY/Travel requirement of 5%
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position based on experience your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience in the Federal Service at the GS-06 grade level which includes: (1) Processing awards and onboarding new hires AND 2) Reviewing and maintaining military and/or civilian actions to ensure timely processing.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
