About the Position: This position is located in the US Military Entrance Processing Command, Oklahoma City, OK. The applicant has an opportunity to work with both Military and Civilian personnel.

Duties

Maintains an automated supply system for material requisitions, inventories, lateral transfers, authorizations, hand receipts, supporting files, bookkeeping, ability to multitask, have a financial background, and other property book transactions. Processes supply requests for expendable/durable and non-expendable items, determining proper classification and ensuring proper authorization. Locates vendors or other actions to ensure mission operations are performed without interruption due to inadequate or nonexistent bench stocked or special requirement materials. Compiles and prepares reports concerning motor vehicle maintenance, utilization, repairs, accidents, etc. Ensures that hazardous materials (i.e., cleaning solvents, bio-medical waste, etc.) are properly stored, segregated, labeled, dated, and documented on inventory control records.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds, and capable of utilizing material handling equipment. A pre-placement physical is required.
  • Must be able to acquire and retain a government purchase card.
  • Must maintain current HAZMAT certification...
  • Must obtain Blood Borne Pathogen certification.
  • Must be licensed and able to drive motor vehicles.
  • Must be computer literate, but the duties do not require a qualified typist.
