About the Position: Located in the U.S. Army Materiel Command, Logistics Data Analysis Center, Data Management Division, Enterprise Data Quality Branch at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Duties
Coordinate lifecycle functional requirements for data management across all functional areas of the agency Logistics Business Enterprise.
Oversee the end-2-end process segments of life cycle data management to include data acquisition requirements, documentation, metadata, archival and purge.
Interpret policy and regulations in regard to business enterprise regulatory requirements and industry best practices for data management.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Data Management to include developing corrective actions after causative analysis and research.
Serve as a focal point and liaison between the Logistics Domain Stewards, Functional Data Managers, Business Enterprise Data Providers, Data Consumers, Domain Senior Leaders, and Integrated Process Teams.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires the incumbent to travel 25% of the time.
- Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management-Practitioner Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
