This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Talent Acquisition (HRT), Special Agent Recruitment Section (HRA), in Arlington, VA.
This position(s) primary purpose is to support the Division in preparing for meetings and conferences with senior officials from DEA Headquarters, within the Division, civilian organizations, and other federal agencies.

Qualifications
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent GS-0343-13.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience for this position includes:
You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 Federal grade level performing the following duties to include: 1) Conducting detailed analysis of policies and procedures, staff products and briefings being presented to higher level leadership; 2) Performing analysis and applications of wide range qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques to identify and advise on problems and programs; 3) Recommending program or project initiatives and process for system improvements; 4) Developing policies, procedures, and guidelines applicable to operational programs; and 5) Coordinating special projects with other agency divisions, Headquarters, and interagency partners.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F). For a GS-14 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.
