About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Moore, Ga. The MCOE is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking are available.

Duties

Serve as a Project Officer assigned to the U.S. Army Armor School (USAARMS) Headquarters. Conduct research and analysis and applies investigative techniques to ensure the most current and accurate data is utilized in the final product. Design and conduct comprehensive studies and analyses applying qualitative and quantitative techniques. Develop implementation strategies as well as methods for measuring long-range program effectiveness. Compile current data and writes summary and historical reports for the Chief of Armor. Prepare comprehensive reports reflecting project status in support of the Armor School at regular Reviews/Briefings. Prepare and present briefings to provide status updates for Armor School manning and resourcing and presents findings and recommendations as well as report potential problem areas.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
