OIG is organized into seven operational units: the Immediate Office of the Inspector General, Office of the Counselor, Office of Audits and Evaluations, Office of Healthcare Inspections, Office of Investigations, Office of Management and Administration, and Office of Special Reviews. In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 60 locations throughout the country.
Duties
The Supervisory Budget Analyst , located in the office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Management and Administration, Budget Division. The incumbent serves as a Deputy Director, Budget Division. The Budget Division is responsible for all budget activities, including formulation, presentation, and execution. The OIG has five elements conducting audits, investigations, and inspections on VA programs; a support element, where this position resides: legal counsel; a specialized contract review function, which operates under a reimbursable agreement; and employs approximately 1,130 full time equivalents with an annual budget of over $239 million.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Performing, leading, administering or overseeing a budget (formulation and/or execution) or financial management program in support of an organization's strategic goals, mission, plans, and operations.
