About the Position: The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.

Duties

Participate in meetings and project review of weapon prototype systems. Modify existing products, or complete fabrication, integration, and/or post processing of prototypes. Evaluate product and schedule requirements to make recommendations to project leaders.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.
• You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Moving expenses will not be paid and a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
